❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ He's a good boy, huhuhu. I love him very much — he and I understand each other in a way that others do not. He's intelligent and skilled in combat as well, which makes us the perfect team. How lucky am I to have someone like him by my side? I believe that he would make an excellent Order member, so I do hope he will join hands with me there as well as here. How much convincing would it take to get him to follow me back to Elrios? I hope it isn't too much, as I'd prefer to keep him all to myself. We're under a demonic contract now. I don't know how to broach the subject, but this may have made him immortal by demon standards. That, and we have a permanent bind that allows us to feel the other's emotions. The dangers of such a thing are inherent, but I trust that this will allow me to keep Mizuki forever. He deserves only the best, after all.

03/??/22 | First meeting. Mizuki tries to explain modern technology to Ebalon. Ebalon is confused. They also hold hands by Mizuki's request, and Ebalon just kinda goes with it to appear more personable because he's weird and thinks touching is odd. 04/02/22 | Ebalon is fucking around with moon magic and makes a moonlight bridge to get to Jenny's ship. Mizuki stumbles across this and asks questions. That's it that's the thread. 04/13/22 | Jenny is attacking the ship as Guabancex. Ebalon is very interested in Mizuki trying to counter the attack because Mizuki is a little bit of an eldritch horror and that's ??? very cool of him to be. He spends the battle keeping Mizuki shielded with moon magic, and to avoid Ebalon getting hurt, Mizuki picks him up and throws him onto the nearby ship where it's safe. And then catches him. Because romance isn't dead. 04/18/22 | Mizuki messages Ebalon to ask him if he's familiar with poisons and antidotes so that he can get one made for his own toxins. Ebalon agrees to do this, though properly making an antidote requires antibodies, at which point he suggests Mizuki poison him so that they can do a blood draw. This happens. Mizuki cries just a little bit and they hug it out. Anyway, antidote is made, and Ebalon squirrels away a small amount of the remaining toxin for himself. You know, for crimes. 04/2?/22 | Mizuki and Ebalon have a discussion about how Ebalon needs to not do reckless shit again re: poisoning for making an antidote. Also Mizuki requests that he sleep over in Ebalon's room and Ebalon agrees to this. They play Tetris, this is very important, Mizuki shows Ebalon Tetris and then he loses several hours to the funny block game. Ebalon manages to parse that Mizuki's feelings toward him are romantic in nature. And then they cuddle (like a lot) and fall asleep together. This is all mostly an excuse for Ebalon to keep Mizuki (useful) at his side. 04/2?/22 | KARAOKE! That's it that's the thread. 05/01/22 | Ebalon has Denif's compass and pocket dimension crimes ensue. Mostly swimming. A lot of swimming. Also "Mizuki, in fact, lives rent-free in the back of his mind in the most deplorable ways possible. Ebalon wants him in the ways only a man like Ebalon can want," is the rawest thing I have ever written. I am so cool. Anyway, Mizuki confides in Ebalon about the pirates, and Ebalon asks that Mizuki call him Dantalion. Then there's more swimming. 05/10/22 | During the battle royale, Mizuki finds Ebalon while injured and covered in blood, and Ebalon heals him. They have a discussion for a while and hold hands and eat rations, as you do when you're in a death game. Unseen: Mizuki eventually wanders off and then dies, so that's fun. 05/13/22 | Mizuki comes to greet Ebalon when he wakes up after getting burned and shot to death (very fun). This is the thread in which the eldritch horrors cuddle and Ebalon nearly proposes marriage on accident by being a fucking idiot. Like the rest of this thread was very serious but the marriage proposal, okay. They take a selfie together! Ebalon experiences the beginnings of romantic attraction here when he thinks to himself that Mizuki isn't replacable like all the others he's interacted with previously. Mizuki requests Ebalon ask Friday to refer to him by "Ebalon" also and not by "Dantalion" since this is their ? thing I guess. 05/15/22 | Ebalon is super into Mizuki's ability to shred people apart to a concerning degree. They talk about Ebalon's murking of Max on the ship after Max provoked him, and Mizuki makes Ebalon swear to not do things like that anymore. And he agrees, because he's a simp. THIS IS ALSO THE BITING THREAD. DO NOT READ THIS THREAD. Anyway Ebalon has a lot of emotions about the reveal that Mizuki is dating Venti, none of these are good emotions. He can't figure out the emotions. There's more flirting. There's more emotions. I don't know. 05/20/22 | Mizuki is glowing now! Ebalon thinks this is fascinating and gets way too touchy. When Ebalon thoughtlessly touches Mizuki's neck and freaks him out, they diffuse by talking about Seven Tower for a bit, and then Ebalon has the terrifying realization that he actually does not want to do anything bad to Mizuki, which goes against his previous inclinations of "getting people on his side / using them / throwing them away" severely. There's again emotions that he doesn't quite get. Ebalon gives Mizuki "his" family crest and Mizuki pins it to his hat. After more unprompted touching and non-platonic kissing the thread turns into the most Disastrous Love Confession Possible in which the feelings are very mutual and Ebalon experiences the emotion of Hurt Feelings when they can't immediately get together and Mizuki asks if they can still be intimate with each other despite that. He says no. And then wanders off for several days to brood. He's doing well. :) 05/24/22 | The world's most dramatic love confession ever happens. Mizuki has confetti cannons and cute little poems, honestly 20/10. They cuddle. It's a good thread. 06/02/22 | The Box Thread™. Ebalon gets a TV, Mizuki eats elder god flesh, also there are pillow fights and makeouts and jellyfish squishmallows involved. This is a completely normal thread that isn't a wild ride to read. 06/04/22 | After Venti's Fuckboy Adventure, Mizuki texts looking for comfort and Ebalon who is absolutely none the wiser to any of this starts planning a date. 06/05/22 | Date thread! It's completely normal until these two start discussing becoming one with each other, and then they sort of mind-meld for a bit and NSFW happens. So their first date went well, clearly. 06/10/22 | Day 1 at camp during the nighttime involves cuddling. Also Ebalon starts discussing Henir's Order because cult bullshit hours are now. He's normal (he is not normal). 06/11/22 | Stargazing turns into Ebalon being launched into the lake by Mizuki as a joke. The joke gets out of hand when Ebalon shapeshifts a bit to give himself gills and stays underwater, making Mizuki think he's harmed. After some apologies, they cuddle and kiss and make up. 10/10. 06/12/22 | Mizuki and La Pluma get into a consensual sparring match and Ebalon oversees it to make sure they both don't die. That's it. 06/12/22 | After the battling, Mizuki and Ebalon have s'mores, and by that I mean Mizuki makes them and feeds Ebalon and they start flirting so aggressively that everyone else around the fire literally just leaves. 06/17/22 | Ebalon ditches the govt-mandated dance and instead does it with Mizuki instead, to the beat of video game music instead of garbage 80s songs. They're cute and people should be frustrated by this since they're literally eldritch horrors. 06/23/22 | Mizuki winds up losing part of a tentacle and asks Ebalon to get rid of it for him. That's the thread. (Said tentacle winds up going to César.) 06/25/22 | The duo do the Perfectly Normal Thing of achieving oneness in the way that they know how: through demon pacts (which involve soul-sharing) and a ritual spell that makes them permanently feel one another's emotions. The demon pact comes with physical changes as well, including matching pact marks (Mizuki's on his left shoulderblade, Ebalon's on his upper left pectoral) and their eyes changing to reflect each other's in the form of matching limbal rings. This is perfectly normal and nothing bad is going to happen. 06/29/22 | Mizuki comes down with an illness after soulbonding because the elder god in Mizuki's brain is real mad at him for all of that.
